Integrated MBR - membrane aeration

Three main functions of aeration:

1. Provide oxygen for microorganisms in membrane biological reaction tank

2. Wash the membrane to prevent rapid pollution

3, the active silt suspended in the water

The integrated MBR relies on membrane aeration to wash the membrane surface, in order to reduce pollution. Membrane suction pump in operation must carry out membrane aeration. Otherwise the membrane will be contaminated,  and the pores blocked.

Aeration is the basic guarantee of the integrated membrane bio-reactor.

The membrane aeration is at the lower part of the module, about 300mm from the bottom of the membrane pool. Generally, perforated tubes are used for aeration, with an aperture of 2-20mm.
